Red Earth Business Development Corporation

Red Earth Cree Nation is very aware of the need to support our community’s entrepreneurs, business partnerships and current RECN owned businesses thrive in the economy.

Our goals include:

  • Fostering self-determination
  • Building capacity
  • Encouraging entrepreneurial skills

 

Trappers Association

RECN Trappers Association is composed of trappers and hunters. Red Earth Cree Nation has a treaty right that guarantees the ability to hunt, trap and fish off the land. Our people have practised this for thousands of years.

 Capital Projects

Currently, plans are underway to begin development on Red Earth Cree Nation’s own cultural Centre. The Cultural Centre will be a hub for community to engage in our Nation’s history and cultural practices.
