Prevention
Prevention is part of a continuum of care based on the needs of the Mihkoskiwakak Nehiyawak children, youth, young adults and families.
Red Earth Cree Nation’s prevention programs and services are important in cultural and community-based prevention programs that promote wellness.
Strengthening connections to our community by promoting healthy relationships that support positive lifestyle choices, can guide youth and adults in connecting to our traditional knowledge and Cree worldview.

Our culture camps are deeply rooted in our Cree heritage. We hold special events throughout the week honoring our Elders and bringing back our customs and traditions.
Culture and Language Research
The culture and research is based on Nehiyawak ways of knowing and being. This valuable work serves to protect and develop research related to culture and language that will continue to support our peoples way of life.
