Mission

RECN aims to create a community where all members have access to comfortable and affordable housing options that meet their individual needs. By providing quality housing, we hope to promote stability and well-being within our community, ensuring that every household has a place they can truly call home. Our vision is to foster a sense of pride and belonging among all Red Earth Cree Nation members through the provision of safe and secure housing.

Housing Commission

Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Elder, 3 Commission Members, Chief and Portfolio Councillor

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Policies/Procedures
  • Tenant application form intake
  • Administer and oversee RECN Housing Program
  • A quorum of this commission shall meet on the first Tuesday of each month.

Tenant Responsibilities

Any person who lives in a RECN unit (INAC) or RECN Rental Unit (CMHC) has certain responsibilities, which must be adhered to in order for tenants to occupy and/or continue to occupy a unit.
